Reporting to the Plant Facility Manager, the Office Manager is responsible for the plant business functions, procurement, contract administration, human resources, accounting, information technology, short and long-range forecasts, budgeting and variance analysis. The Office Manager works closely with the Facility Manager, staff and the corporate office to ensure the overall success of plant operations and activities. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to plant in areas such as safety, planning, cost and efficiency.
Salary Range for this position is $80,000 - $125,000 commiserate with experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as key point of daily contact for the leadership team to ensure they receive high level of support coordinating business travel and event management
- Manage company meeting calendar and catering for meetings and calls
- Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures
- Manage procurement of all office supplies of stationery, supplies, equipment and furniture
- Work with building management to resolve any onsite issues
- Maintain organization of common areas – specifically kitchen and break rooms
- Manage incoming mail, packages and shipping
- Plan and execute internal events
- Ad-hoc and project work as expected in a growing dynamic company
- Assist HR with orient of new employees and assist them in settling in
- Front desk reception duties when necessary
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Strong IT skills, particularly the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of adapting personal style and tone at all levels within the Company
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills
- High levels of self-awareness and personal integrity
- Good negotiation skills
- The ability to prioritise workload along with top organisation skills and multi-tasking skills, and a meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written English skills
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar accenting or finance leadership role
- Power Plant and Maximo software experience preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related area of study
