Job Overview
- In this position, you will work full-time hours from March through December, working roughly ten months out of the year full-time and part-time January and February, the “slow season”. If you like to travel, take extended vacations, or just want some downtime, we will work to accommodate a work arrangement that meets your needs during the “slow season.”
- The work environment is casual; jeans & sneakers are standard office attire.
- Office hours are 8:30 - 5:00 M-F. This schedule can be flexible to a point based on your individual needs. The workload may sometimes require the Office Manager to work beyond “regular” office hours as determined by business necessity.
- The salary range for the role is $23 - $28 per hour, with the opportunity to occasionally work some overtime.
- A simple IRA is offered on day one with a company contribution and up to 40 hours of paid annual sick time.
- The business is located in Lockport in the town of Pendleton.
The Office Manager will be an expert in customer service and ensure the highest level of client/guest satisfaction is achieved daily.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the financial integrity of all P&L statements by supporting systems that properly track expenses and revenues that are categorized, coded, and posted through the accounting process.
- Oversees general supplies purchases. Performs or oversees budgetary monitoring of purchases.
- Maintain accounting and human resources files.
- Provide primary coverage of main phone line(s).
- Maintain office equipment and order office supplies.
- Assist with meeting preparation and set-up for internal and external meetings.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail daily.
- Provide efficient and professional service at an appropriate level to meet or exceed internal and external client’s needs.
- Assist in creating annual sales and revenue goals and provide quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications to revenue projections as necessary.
- All revenues, cash, credit, or checks are properly deposited, accounted for, and deposited into the Company’s operating bank account.
- Manage all communications to internal/external clients and stakeholders promptly and effectively.
- Complete all required paperwork on a timely basis.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

- Experience with job costing/project tracking
- Minimum three to five years experience in an office management work environment that is customer service-oriented, preferably in manufacturing, construction, hospitality, or retail
- Associate's Degree – concentration in business, marketing, or management.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial management principles focusing on budgeting and forecasting revenue goals and objectives.
- Human Resources management skills in employee relations, recruiting and retention, and employee recognition.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and determine task priorities.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Excel-based programs.
- QuickBooks software knowledge and proficiency.
- Detail-orientated, organized, dependable and honest in dealings
