Office Equipment Technician Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair Office Equipment, including copiers, printers, and fax machines, utilizing technical diagnostics, software downloads, installation, and removal.
- Manage call activity and perform administrative requirements to close calls.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective use of customer management skills and engaging team support when necessary.
- Adhere to proper escalation procedures to resolve customer issues promptly.
- Provide customer training on assigned products to ensure effective usage.
- Maintain responsibility for assigned company assets, such as parts, tools, and communication devices.
- Assist other service representatives with call support, knowledge sharing, and problem resolution.
- Take ownership of customer and technical problem resolution with minimal supervision.
- Plan and manage activity to ensure a productive workday and efficient customer service.
- Handle a full workload in the assigned territory with minimal assistance.
- Experience with Canon and Kyocera products is highly preferred, though not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Break/fix and technical experience are desired.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to building and maintaining strong customer relations.
- Positive attitude, outgoing, self-motivated, and committed to high performance.
- Ability to identify problems in straightforward situations and make sound decisions using standard procedures.
