As an integral part of the Partner & Customer Solutions organization, the sr equipment technician is involved in all equipment development projects from end to end. You will conduct equipment testing at each phase of development, assist in creation of training materials, train teams internally and in the field, and act as a technical SME for various pieces of equipment.

Support R&D equipment development projects during phases of concept design, functional development, commercialization, and implementation
Conduct equipment testing as needed; summarize and share test data collected
Train partners and field service provides in equipment installation, service, and maintenance
Act as an equipment technician SME for core and high visibility programs
Travel to various store locations to support equipment installations and commissioning
Diagnose and repair commercial equipment, focusing but not exclusive to coffee equipment
Have adequate experience to provide a serviceability perspective for new equipment
Prioritize tasks effectively
Have strong communication skills: written and verbal to coach other technicians
Perform lab testing as needed on new and off-the-shelf equipment
We'd love to hear from people with:
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Previous technician experience (5 years)
Proficiency using Solidworks
Service or maintenance experience in retail or restaurant chain operations
Associates or bachelors degree in a technical field
