Job Description
We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Office Engineer to join our team for aviation construction projects within Los Angeles area. As an Office Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining organized and detailed construction files, project records, and logs. You will oversee and review daily field inspector reports, track and manage project issues and conditions, and coordinate technical and administrative information to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or another related field.
- 15 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects. Has demonstratable specialized experience/area of expertise
Preferred Qualifications:
- Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, CCM, PE etc., and/or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain organized and detailed construction files, project records, and logs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee and review daily field inspector reports to identify issues, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Track, document, and manage project issues and conditions, including the management of the construction Request For Information (RFI) and submittal process.
- Provide technical and administrative information to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to facilitate communication and information sharing, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of project documentation and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports, presentations, and other project-related materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to construction project management and engineering
