Job Description:
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the scheduling and dispatching of our field personnel. Your role is pivotal in ensuring timely response to customer requests, maintaining communication with technicians, and resolving issues to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
-Full time position Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with the opportunity to work on-call once a month.
-Receive and prioritize service requests from customers and accurately relay needed information.
-Effectively dispatch field personnel based on location, skills, and job requirements.
-Monitor and track the status of assignments to ensure timely completion.
-Communicate with technicians and customers to provide necessary information and updates.
-Collaborate with other dispatchers and teams to address scheduling conflicts and optimize resources.
-Respond to emergency situations and provide support to field personnel as needed.
-Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Additional education or certification in logistics or a related field is a plus.
-Basic computer skills required
-Understanding and experience in operating service appointment booking software, particularly Service Titan, is a plus
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Ability to multitask and capable of identifying/completing critical tasks with a sense of urgency
-Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
