Security Dispatch Officer

• Emergency Dispatch:
• Receive and prioritize incoming calls related to security incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Dispatch security personnel promptly to designated locations based on the nature and urgency of the situation.
• Monitoring Systems:
• Monitor security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems.
• Respond to and investigate alarm activations, taking appropriate action according to established procedures.
• Communication:
• Maintain clear and effective communication with security personnel, on-site staff, and external emergency services.
• Document all communications and actions taken during incidents for future reference.
• Incident Documentation:
• Record and maintain accurate and detailed logs of all security-related incidents and activities.
• Provide timely and thorough reports to supervisors on incidents and responses.
• Send incident reports to clients.
• Coordination with On-Site Security:
• Work closely with on-site security personnel to ensure a seamless and coordinated response to incidents.
• Relay relevant information to security officers on duty.
• Dispatch operations:

• Handle call offs from schedule personnel
• Update schedules/adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate submission documentation/documents to appropriate departments.

• Customer Service:
• Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to individuals involved in security-related incidents.
• Technology Utilization:
• Utilize dispatch software, radio systems, and other technologies to efficiently manage and coordinate security activities.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any malfunctions promptly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
