Dispatcher Patrol Officer

Shift Schedule: The position operates on a rotating shift schedule. During the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month, the schedule is Tuesday through Saturday. For the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month, the schedule shifts to Monday through Friday. Each shift is 8 hours long.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. This role encompasses traditional dispatch duties along with the responsibility to perform patrol rounds throughout the day. The ideal candidate is preferably armed, demonstrating a blend of operational proficiency and security expertise. A valid Guard Card is preferred, highlighting the candidate’s dedication to security excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently manage and dispatch calls for service, ensuring prompt response and coordination of security personnel.

- Conduct regular patrol rounds to ensure the security and safety of the premises.

- Utilize technology (phones, computers, tablets) to monitor surveillance, log incidents, and maintain communication.

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

- Exhibit excellent time management to effectively handle the dynamic security environment.

- Exceptional problem-solving, quick thinking in high-pressure situations, and strong communication skills.

- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.

- Creative and innovative problem-solving, thinking outside the box for unexpected challenges.

Qualifications:

- Experience in security dispatch preferred, especially for candidates who are armed and certified.

- Valid Guard Card highly preferred.

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing both dispatch and patrol duties.

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and various technology platforms.

- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, quick decision-making under pressure.
