Job Summary
We are seeking an Office Clerk/Front Desk Attendant to join our team! As an Office Clerk, you will answer the phones, direct calls, and handle customer questions. You are the first person our members see when they enter the club. You will also be filing paperwork, making copies, faxing documents, and mailing information out to customers, as needed. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, experience working in an office environment, and strong organizational skills. This position can be five days a week or split with someone else to be two or three days a week.
Responsibilities

• Answer phones, assist customers with questions, and direct calls
• Process incoming paperwork, make photocopies, and file paperwork
• Sort mail and distribute it to the appropriate places
• Maintain records, either physical or electronic, of business transactions
• Maintain the cleaning and kitchen supplies
• Trouble shoot building issues and notify appropriate vendors

Qualifications

• Great customer service skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe software
• familiar with swimming as a sport
• able to pass background checks in accordance with USA Swimming

Suburban Seahawks Club (SSC) is a non-profit, 300+ member, competitive aquatics, USA Swimming Silver Medal Club. SSC’s primary location is a club owned, 25 yard 8-lane pool with a 2 lane teaching pool and dry-land room. We also rent a 10 lane pool at Swarthmore College.
