Shipping/ Office Clerk

Phoenix is currently seeking a Shipping/Office Clerk to support their Brockway, PA facility. This person would be responsible for:

·Scheduling shipments for outgoing freight (both customer and vendor)

·Preparing paperwork for shipments and verification of accuracy

·Working knowledge of commercial invoices, USMCA documents, HTS Tarriff Codes, SLI (Shipper Letter of Instruction) where applicable.

·Tracking and updating status of shipments

·Documenting damages and/or filing claims with transportation agencies.

·Troubleshooting shipping issues

·Negotiating best transportation rates

·Sending Advanced Shipment Notifications

·Adhering to all Customer requested shipping procedures.

·Excellent communication skills with Shipping Team

·Answering incoming phone calls and greeting customers

·Ordering office supplies

Qualified candidates should:

·Have a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

·Possess the ability to interact with customers and vendors as needed.

·Have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be proficient in the use of personal computers, specifically with Microsoft office, ERP software along with Customer portal experience.

·Be able to work across functional areas daily, be able to multi-task, highly organized, and excellent time management skills.
