Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing files, and assisting with various office tasks within our roofing department. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and responding to emails
-Build and send material orders for roofing/restoration clients
- Manage and maintain office files, both physical and electronic
- Assist with data entry and document preparation
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Assist with organizing and coordinating office events or meetings
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role highly preferred
- Familiarity with office procedures is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer presentation service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel, Job Nimbus, and Gmail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of basic office equipment and phone systems
