Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform data entry tasks, including inputting and updating information in databases
- Assist with medical office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Serve as a clerk by organizing and maintaining files and documents
- Type and proofread various documents, including correspondence and reports
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Assist with office management duties, including ordering supplies and managing inventory
- File and organize paperwork in a computerized system for easy retrieval
- Coordinate projects by tracking deadlines, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion
- Manage calendars by scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills is required
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
