Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting the growth of the company through developing new business opportunities, securing new business, and managing the day-to-day operations of the sales department. The position will be responsible for developing and executing a plan to increase sales in each market segment and will report directly to the Director of Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Develop new business opportunities by networking with industry contacts.
·Identify, research, and develop leads on new business opportunities.
·Conduct thorough market research to determine key market players, competitive landscape, and prospective customers.
·Prepare detailed proposals for potential customers using information obtained from extensive market research.
·Prepare presentations for potential customers based on information obtained from extensive market research.
·Negotiate contracts, prepare customer quotes, and complete sales presentations for new business.
·Manage existing accounts to maximize their potential for sales with the company.
·Develop strong relationships with customers through regular communication regarding current projects, new products, or changes in customer requirements.
·Identify emerging markets with potential growth opportunities.
·Prepare detailed proposals for prospective customers based on information obtained from extensive market research.
·Prepare presentations for prospective customers based on information obtained from extensive market research.
·Prepare proposals for government contracts or other opportunities that may require presentation to senior management.
·Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
·Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and listening verbal. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. The position requires excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., as well as good interpersonal skills and time management skills in order to effectively manage customer relationships in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Oil & Gas and Heavy Industrial Construction markets required.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $141,000.00 per year
