Overview:
This hourly position works with AEC customers and associates, as well as SSS
customers. The hours are generally 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday with an hour
lunch from 11am-12pm. Overtime will be required at times including Saturday. This
position will report to the Repairs Manager
Job Description:
The Office Assistant will help the Repairs Manager with the organization and running of
the daily operations of this department. The goal is to provide a premier experience
through every interaction.
• Follow the Repair Manager’s instructions for daily duties.
- Greet customers, either on phone or in person, and kindly assist them.
- Process parts request to receive parts for the Repair Techs to repair machines.
- Will own the RGA Repair Procedure.
- Populate orders in Syspro.
- Update the SSS website, eBay, Facebook, and all future social media pages daily.
- Prepare and schedule shipments of items and equipment, both sold and repaired.
Skills / Experience Needed:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a willingness to tackle all duties as assigned.
- Experience required in Microsoft Office and various computer programs.
- Experience with an ERP / MRP system a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Be AEC forklift certified or the ability to get it.
- Good personal hygiene and appearance.
