We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the company's daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake various office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion and incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
- Create and update records, ensuring the accuracy and validity of information
- Billing and Invoicing Customers
- Set up new customer accounts
- Answer incoming customer calls and dispatch the message to Operations for service.
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- Perform receptionist duties when needed
- Open to cross-training and assisting other departments as needed
- Must be a team player and work well within a small office atmosphere
- During Peak Summer Season must be open to work on a Saturday rotation and occasional overtime if needed.
Skills - Proven experience as an Office Assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent Computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Basic Quick books On Line
