Growing, stable specialty contracting company looking for detail-oriented Office Asst/Bookkeeper. $25-30/hour. Schedule is Full Time 40 hours per week, overtime available. Workload may be as late as 6pm/ 7pm/ 8pm. Must be willing to stay late to finish job, if needed. Prefer willingness to work weekends and holidays if needed. Overtime available.
Remote work is NOT available. All work onsite.
Duties: (1) scan invoices and receipts to Adobe Acrobat PDF files (2) input documents into MS Access database (3) input bills and invoices into Quickbooks, (4) manage employee debit cards (5) make bank deposits (6) assist with and/or complete weekly payroll for 70 employees, (7) assist with labor compliance / certified payrolls (8) scheduling and managing employee safety training (9) call customers and vendors payments (10) handle employee’s concerns (11) assist with company trucks and compliance requirements (12) assist with bidding opportunities, (13) other office help as needed.
Job Qualifications:
· Ability to speak fluent English in a CLEAR, fully understandable voice as this position involves substantial phone communication with our clients
· Willing to learn and utilize software like X1 Search, Access, Quickbooks, Adobe Acrobat
· Must use task time tracking software called Toggl (will train)
· Must be able to type by touch.
· Must be very accurate and be very good at following lengthy and detailed instruction lists.
· Comfortable reading maps and working with Windows file structure i.e. moving and copying files and folders
· Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines under pressure
· Willing to stay late, work overtime, work holidays, or work weekends as needed to finish job if needed
· Must be able to handle confidential information.
· Must have reliable transportation because will be needed to occasionally do deliveries and errands.
