Job Description – Office Assistant
Watkins Investigations, LLC provides litigation support to law firms. This is an In-Office position. Duties will primarily be assisting current staff with coordinating the service of legal documents with outside process servers and monitoring the process service files through completion of the assignment. Some of the duties will include the following:
Opening new case files and assigning to process servers
Reviewing and processing returns of service
Reviewing files for status of service
Assisting with opening new investigation files
Reviewing updates from process servers
Responding to client requests for status updates
Assisting with Invoicing & Accounts Receivables
Scanning and filing of case files
Answer telephone
Applicant Qualifications
· Experience working in an administrative position for a process service company, law firm, or private investigation company is preferred
· H.S. Diploma required, but college degree preferred
· Must be proficient using a computer
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must know how to type proficiently and have experience using Word and Outlook
· Solid logical and analytical skills required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
