```Duties```
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing excellent administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Checking In/Out clients
- Collecting copyments, deductibles, and co-insurances
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are properly organized
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and generating reports
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in a medical office setting or similar administrative role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus (Medical receptionist)
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Tebra.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with front desk operations and phone systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
