Office Assistant (English and Spanish Speaker)
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to the appropriate individuals
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining office documents and records
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Provide customer support and address inquiries or concerns in a professional manner
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is a plus
- Excellent front desk etiquette and phone skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles using QuickBooks is desirable
