Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome employeesand visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify clientsinsurance information
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a front desk receptionist, preferably in a medical setting. Willing to train the right person.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
