Full Job Description
The boutique Trust & Estate law firm of Herdeg, du Pont & Dalle Pazze is seeking a full-time Office Administrator to join its team in Centreville, Delaware. The standard hours for this position are 8:00 – 4:30. This position’s responsibilities include:
- Managing various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our office
- Performing general office duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing, and greeting visitors
- Handling payroll processing and maintaining employee records
- Managing billing, attorney time entry, and bookkeeping
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing
- Maintaining inventory of office supplies and placing orders as needed
- Providing administrative support to various departments as needed
- Working collaboratively with attorneys and other staff to ensure our clients receive outstanding service and attention
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
· Strong organizational skills and detail oriented;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
· Working knowledge or willingness to learn QuickBooks and time-keeping software;
· Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal guidance to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent tasks;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, dependability, good judgment, and initiative;
· Ability to work in a team environment;
· Trustworthy and honest
