1st Shift Monday – Friday
- Handle all front desk operations, i.e., answer the phone & door, greet guests, & notify proper department of visitors.
- Send, receive, and distribute mail to appropriate departments.
- Stamp incoming checks, make copies, & give to Controller for deposit.
- Match invoices to shippers & handle any price/quantity discrepancies.
- Order all office, health, & safety supplies
- Assist Purchasing/Receiving, Material Planning, Finance, & Human Resources as needed.
- File packing slips in proper folders and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- May assist in scheduling transportation of materials as needed.
- Enter new orders or releases for customers.
- Send credit app to new vendors and add into system; ask for W9 form.
- File accounts payable and accounts receivable into correct cabinets
- Fill out NAFTA certifications & file in appropriate year folder/customer.
- Help track budgets with accounting department.
- Print New orders.
- Make FedEx and UPS labels.
- Process Bill of Ladings
- Set up truckload carriers.
- Send ASN’s through EDI
- Misc shipping duties
