Job Title: Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: New Orleans, LA
Soliant Health is thrilled to announce a full-time opening for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in partnership with a confidential School District in New Orleans, LA. We are seeking a skilled and passionate OT to join our team and contribute to the well-being and development of students. Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' motor and sensory development
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and parents
Collaborate with other members of the education team to support students' overall success
Utilize assistive technology and adaptive equipment to enhance students' participation in educational activities
Monitor and document students' progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
Provide training and support to school staff on strategies for supporting students' sensory and motor needs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Louisiana
Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required
Strong munication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students
passion, patience, and dedication to supporting students' well-being
Knowledge of relevant laws and policies related to the provision of occupational therapy services in Schools
