Tilebar is seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team as a Retail Visual Merchandising Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the maintenance and design of our showroom displays, ensuring an engaging and visually appealing experience for our customers. This position offers a mix of on-site work at our NYC showroom and some remote opportunities.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the showroom design team to create and maintain displays
- Utilize AutoCAD for accurate and detailed floor plans to optimize showroom layouts
- Demonstrate proficiency in Excel for inventory management and data analysis
- Implement and update showroom design standards to enhance overall customer experience
- Ensure all displays are in pristine condition
- Coordinate with various departments to incorporate new product launches into showroom displays
- Participate in team meetings to discuss design strategies, improvements, and upcoming projects
- Signage and label maintenance and installation
- Maintain and update AutoCAD fixture library
- Monthly showroom as-builts
- Create directives for in-store and trade show displays
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing displays.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing and planning showroom layouts.
- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and inventory management.
- Genuine interest in showroom design and a creative mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to adapt to evolving design trends and translate them into showroom displays.
- Experience in retail or showroom environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of 3D rendering software is advantageous.
