- Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make Abington – Jefferson Health (AJH) the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees.
- Processes nutrition orders and tray tickets with 100% accuracy to ensure accurate and up to date nutritional needs are provided. Multitasks in the diet office to ensure meal service is efficient and running on time. Set up register with cashier to ensure that daily till is correct. Answer all phone calls from patients to assure all needs are met.
- Cross-references and manually enters patient’s diet allergies from Sunrise electronic medical record.
- Calls patients to inform them of menu changes whenever able. Manually enters patient’s menu selections for patients with multiple diet restrictions and assures selections fall within nutritional parameters for the restrictions.
H.S. graduate or equivalent required. Prefer graduate of one-two year nutrition program.
Previous nutritional office experience preferred, but not required
