150 bed Skilled Nursing Home for Veterans searching for an experienced Administrator. Interested persons must have good leadership qualities and a minimum of 3 years' of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Home.
Qualities Required:
- Knowledge of State and Federal guidelines and the ability to learn VA Guidelines.
- Time Management Skills
- Financial literacy and ability to manage budgets.
- Human Resources skills
- Effective Communication.
- Interpersonal skills
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Mississippi
- Min of 3 years’ experience working in a skilled Nursing Home.
Responsibilities:
Provide training, formal and informal, to agency staff as required.
Provide Nursing Home personnel requirements to the Personnel Officer.
Maintain scheduled and unscheduled in-person visits to the home.
Reduce expenses and increase revenues in the home to ensure long term viability.
Shares knowledge with superiors and subordinates to ensure long term growth of all agency employees.
Ensures Nursing Home policies and procedures are updated as per changes in regulations and federal guidelines
Works closely with the agency Procurement Officer and General Counsel.
Works with the all persons involved to maintain relationships and resolve issues.
Resolve personnel issues with minimum disruption in service to our veterans.
Determine the best candidates for AIT training.
Other duties as required by the Nursing Home Coordinator.
