Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee the management and operation of Surgical Services, including 7 surgical suites, PACU, and the Sterile Processing Department at Sierra Vista. Exhibit initiative and independent judgment while developing and maintaining interdisciplinary relationships across all departmental personnel levels. Ensure safe patient care, staff development, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the State of California.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Five years of experience in Perioperative Services.
- Three years of managerial experience.
Skills:
- Complete technical skills in surgical suite management.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Hospital operational ability.
- Commitment to nursing professionalism.
