Seeking Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner for Level III NICU Practice in Jersey City, NJ!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a full-time, board certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for our growing Level III NICU practice at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ. • Staffing Model: 4 Neonatologists, 2 Pediatricians provide in-house coverage 24/7 and one Mid-Level Provider
• Pediatric outpatient clinic
• Rounds on the pediatric inpatient floor (ADC 1)
• Newborn Coverage (2,030 annual deliveries)
• Pediatric Subspecialist support available via telemedicine.
• Newly opened state of the art pediatric center with separate Pediatric ED with a pediatric inpatient unit
• Evidence-based medicine is a strong focus with monthly journal club meetings with physicians and nurses, participation in the Vermont Oxford Network, and opportunities to do clinical research.

Responsibilities:

The PNP/FNP role will cover the general pediatrics such as pediatrics inpatient, newborns and to provide coverage in the pediatric outpatient clinic which also runs Monday-Friday.

• Managing admissions in Peds ER and Newborn Nursery
• Caring for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
• Overseeing daily responsibilities in peds unit and Newborn Nursery

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in nursing
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
