Position Description
The Nurse Educator is a clinical practitioner who possesses advanced skill and expertise in nursing care and education. The Nurse Educator plans, creates, and facilitates mandatory and non-mandatory education classes for nurses. The Nurse Educator works with departments and units to identify ways to fulfill training needs. The Nurse Educator is responsible for the onboarding of Patient Care Services employees. The Nurse Educator will take an active role in Shared Governance at AU Health.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
Preferred Requirements
Master's Degree in Nursing. Approved National Certification. ACLS or PALS Instructor Certified.
