Position Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to perform a wide variety of exams and procedures on patients of all ages to provide physicians with data for diagnostic purposes. The Nuclear Medicine Technlogist works under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager.
Position Requirements
Vocational or technical training or degree: Accredited Radiography Program. Ability to operate Radiographic equipment. Ability to communicate verbally and written. Possess excellent patient/customer service skills. Certification(s) required: CNMT through NMTCB, or ARRT(N) and Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Requirements
1 year or more of experience in Nuclear Medicine. Ability to operate NM equipment.
