Job Description
This position will be located in Griffin and Macon GA
Responsibilities:
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures using specialized equipment and techniques
- Administer radioactive substances to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and radiation dosages
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure
Qualifications:
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Nuclear Medicine
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in operating Nuclear Medicine equipment and software
- Experience with aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
- Mammography: Ability to perform mammography procedures using specialized equipment.
- Aseptic technique: Knowledge and application of sterile techniques to prevent infection.
- Sonography: Proficiency in performing sonographic examinations using ultrasound equipment.
- ER: Experience working in an emergency room setting, providing immediate medical care.
- Medical terminology: Familiarity with the language used in healthcare settings for accurate communication.
- PET scan: Knowledge and experience in conducting positron emission tomography scans.
- X-Ray: Proficiency in operating X-ray machines to capture images of internal body structures.
- Anatomy knowledge: Understanding of the structure and function of the human body.
- CT: Ability to perform computed tomography scans using specialized equipment.
- Physiology knowledge: Understanding of the normal functioning of body systems.

Salary: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
