Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional, experienced Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a commitment to providing exceptional service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide an outstanding dining experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Display extensive knowledge of our menu items, wine list, and beverage offerings, making recommendations based on guests' preferences.
Take and process orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and temperature standards are met.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all restaurant offerings to answer guest questions with confidence and detail.
Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.
Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after service periods.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Participate in our tip pooling system, which is designed to fairly distribute gratuities among all service team members.
Address and resolve guests' concerns with a solutions-focused mindset.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a fine dining establishment is preferred.
Strong understanding of hospitality etiquette and fine dining service standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions.
Physical stamina to work for long periods.
Commitment to a collaborative service environment as part of a tip-pooled house.
