Note Operations Specialist II

Job Description
SUMMARY
Under general supervision, performs a variety of centralized service duties pertaining to the servicing of commercial loans including, but not limited to: documentation review, loan maintenance, vendor management, payment/wire processing and research, demand management, GL balancing, reporting and any other duty as assigned. Generally, has 2 or more years' experience.
This role will also serve as back up to the Note Documentation Specialist, which whom performs a variety of centralized service duties pertaining to Documentation and Boarding.
Target Compensation: $31.04
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Performs callbacks on documentation and boarding of new, renewed, and existing loans
2. Process closed loans and collateral releases accordingly
3. Balances GLs daily and monthly
4. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly departmental certifications accurately and timely (payments, advances, wires etc)
5. Maintains all correspondence and requests though miscellaneous department email box
6. Manages daily reporting
7. Reads and understands the Bank's Loan Procedure and Policy Manual
8. Understand and adhere to all compliance regulations as presented in various training meetings
9. Answer phone calls and email inquiries promptly and professionally
10. Uploads and stores loan documentation to applicable software.
11. In-depth, often complex research.
12. Generating established reports and processing activity accordingly.
13. Frequent communication with Business Banking Center personnel and third-party vendors
14. Maintains advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry status and trends.
15. Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
16. Operates computer terminal or personal computer to obtain and process data.

Experience and Skills
Desired Requirements

• Generally, has 2 or more years' experience in drawing loan documents, boarding and processing loans.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word

• Possess a strong customer service orientation, and a willingness to place the customer first.
• Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
• Possess strong written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational/time management skills.
• Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; and word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
• Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
