As a Non-Income Tax Technology Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of technology solutions that support specifically the non-income tax function of GE Vernova. Your role will involve working closely with tax professionals, IT teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-driven efficiencies, streamline tax compliance and reporting processes, and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
Job Description:
- Lead the non-income Tax Technology function, including tax software implementation, data management, and analytics, ensuring that tax systems, processes, and tools are optimized to meet our organization's tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization, including finance, accounting, and IT, to ensure effective stakeholder teaming for tax-related technology projects.
- Design, develop and implement Tax Technology strategies to optimize tax operations and improve efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting.
- Identify and assess Tax Technology risks and opportunities and develop solutions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Manage relationships with tax software vendors, external consultants, and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide guidance and training to other members of the tax team, as well as other departments within the organization, on Tax Technology matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations related to Tax Technology, including data privacy and cybersecurity.
- Develop and implement tax data management strategies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax-related data.
- Drive and be involved in global projects, interact with cross-functional teams within the organization
- Supervise and train newcomers and analysts
- Additional tax related tasks as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Significant experience in Tax Technology, including experience in software implementation, tax automation, and data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Strong project management skills.
- Written and verbal fluency in English.

- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Professional certification, such as CPA, CMA, or CITP.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and coach junior staff members.
- Familiarity with emerging Tax Technology trends and developments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
If contracted in the US:
The salary range for this position is 172 900,00 - 288 100,00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
