Crew Leader - Fine Gardening

Bedworks Design, Inc. is a specialized gardening company. We are looking to add to our growing team and seeking a gardening professional that has experience in managing a small crew, or the skills and passion to be trained to become a leader over time.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing, excellent organizational skills, ability to be "hands on" doing the work while also leading the team, strong Fine Gardening knowledge, eager to teach, effective at time management, strong communicator and a team player. Our main office is in North Chatham and we operate in Chatham, Orleans, Harwich and Brewster areas.

Our clientele is sophisticated and demanding. They love us and tell us so everyday. We are looking for people with a strong work ethic that have a passion for plants and gardening. We build beautiful coastal gardens and landscapes and are proud of what we do. Our team is amazing.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a crew of gardeners in daily tasks
- Plan and prioritize work assignments to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Perform and oversee various duties such as pruning, trimming, edging, and weeding
- Provide guidance and training to crew members on proper techniques and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Fine Gardening and landscaping
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and maintenance practices
- Ability to operate landscaping tools safely
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
