Santa Barbara's Castillo Inn is looking for candidates for our part-time Front Desk/Night Audit position. As Guest Service Representative, you will assist our guests with making reservations, performing check-ins, answering inquiries and processing payments. As night auditor, you will check guest and payment information for accuracy and close the day's transactions. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software
- Knowledge of front desk operations and guest services
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
