BlueHalo is seeking a Program Director who can oversee development and execution of strategy, partnerships, and program baselines working closely with numerous/diverse internal and external stakeholders. This role is of critical importance as it represents and emerging focus area for BlueHalo and thus requires someone with relevant experience and drive to work in a dynamic environment and deliver on commitments to our customers
- Develops and executes overarching program strategy leveraging a combination of corporate/business unit strategy, customer knowledge, industry knowledge, and program management expertise.
- Leads development and execution master program baselines (cost, schedule and performance). Identifies and mitigates program risks, and directs internal and external team members for successful program completion meeting customer requirements, withing cost and schedule constraints.
- Builds and leads a diverse set of team members across multiple companies to define and deliver an integrated product. This will also include evaluating when to leverage internal vs. external resources both for initial program offerings and developing an enduring capability to support future programs in this business area.
- Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes, adapting them to the unique needs of this mission area while remaining aligned with overarching sector and corporate policies.
- Tracks subcontractor costs and prepares monthly internal/external financial and program deliverables with support from Technical SME’s and Program Control staff.
- Supports development of overarching annual operating plan within the relevant business unit to meet growth objectives.
- Interfaces with the customer, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders such as contracts/subcontracts, finance, purchasing, and human resources.
- Aids in proposal development, contract negotiation, contract compliance, and business development activities.
- Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in management/program management and a Bachelors’ degree (or equivalent additional experience) and associated expertise in developing and executing program baselines.
- Candidate must have experience with/understanding of DoD contracting and acquisition processes.
- Candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment, responding to changing constraints to adapt plans and programs to emerging customer needs.
- Experience with: 1) missile/kinetic-kill systems and/or implementation 2) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) engineering, operation, or design, and/or modeling and simulation of air and ground systems, would be strong discriminators.
- Candidate must have an active security clearance, but exceptional candidates with the ability to successfully undergo government screening to obtain the appropriate level of clearance will also be considered.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential.
- Must be proficient in use Microsoft business tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Candidate should: 1) be extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills, 2) have experience as part of a cohesive team and be able to deliver the highest quality service, 3) be able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

- EVMS experience to include working with a resource-loaded IMS
- Experience working with US Army Aviation Missile and Technology Consortium (AMTC) or other US Army acquisition organizations
