HX5 is currently seeking a Network & Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with system administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security
• Assist with managing hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipment
• Assist end-users with the operation and restoration of information systems
• Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle management
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems
• Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions

Education and Experience:
All experience and education combinations must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec , CySA , CCNA-Security) to be considered.

• AS degree, and seven (7) years of professional experience; OR
• AS degree, five (5) years of professional experience, and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP , CISSP, CCSP); OR
• BS degree, and five (5) years of professional experience; OR
• BS degree, three (3) years of professional experience, and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP , CISSP, CCSP)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
