R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Network Technician at our Wilmington, OH Service Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement approved Network changes in accordance with applicable procedures
- Configure and install Cisco routers and switches
- Analyze and diagnose network problems for a variety of users in a multi-tenant environment.
- Assist network Engineer(s) in the form of requirements analysis, network application design, implementation, problem investigation and resolution, and network application evaluation
- Create, publish and maintain up to date and accurate Network documentation
- Perform necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
- Function as a point of contact between vendors, and internal or external organizations to ensure timely transition of fix and maintenance activities.
- On call as required. A minimal amount of travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience installing and supporting data network solutions
- 1+ years' experience supporting Cisco routing and switching protocols
- Entry level experience designing network routing, switching, security, and datacenter architectures
- Experience supporting network security platforms – Palo Alto, F5 LTM/ASM/APM a plus
- CCNA or equivalent experience a plus
