• Iterate Network Security posture to better protect against attacks and detect new vectors.
• Lead network efforts to mitigate and investigate security incidents.
• Develop automation and utilize frameworks to scale both protection and mitigation tools.
• Evaluate and test new vendor and in house network initiatives for security issues.
• Mentor and evangelize security practices through cross functional work with engineering teams throughout Meta.
• Keep Meta safe through active operation and defense of critical network infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Telecommunication and Network Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field and 36 months of work experience in job offered or in an information security-related occupation.
  Experience must include 36 months of experience in the following:
• 1. Software or security engineering
• 2. Operation systems, file systems and memory on Windows, MacOS, or Linux
• 3. Interpreted programming language PHP, Python, Perl or Ruby
• 4. Information Security Detection and response
• 5. Developing scalable systems to automation detection and remediation
• 6. Identifying attacker tactics, techniques and procedures
• 7. Configuring and maintaining infrastructure to log network telemetry and metadata
• 8. Ensuring resilience of network infrastructure to withstand internal and external threats
• 9. Providing incident response capability for infrastructure related threats and attacks.
