Position: Network Operations Information Security Admin

Location: Folsom, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract

 

Job Description:

Operational

·       Track and Manage licenses and support agreements for software and hardware

·       Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with licensing and support agreements

·       New Product Onboarding

o   Meet and engage with vendors.

o   Review license agreements, terms of support, upgrade paths, suitability for our environment, and ensure appropriate teams are engaged in the process

o   Initiate and manage the RAP process

·       Existing Products - Upgrades, Decommissions, Future Roadmaps

·       Apple Business Manager Portal - Phone deployments

·       Mail boxes and web accounts:

o   AWS and AWS Base

o   Google Maps Platform

o   Google Developer

o   Apple Developer

o   AWS

o   Assetlc Inbox - contracts, vendor notices, generic mailbox for Asset Management

·       Verify and approve certs for InfoSec

·       Manage the SW request queue in Remedy Force. Verify licenses are available for each request

 

Finance and Accounting

·       Approve invoices for payment

·       Resolve payment disputes, invoice issues, and PO discrepancies

·       Ensure funds are available for identified purchases

·       Collaborate with business units to identify funding paths

·       Open PO Reports - Regularly review open PO's for billing and delivery issues.

o   Ensure vendor follows invoice process

o   Collaborate with vendors to get invoices issued and paid per contract terms

 

Procurement

·       Track and manage software procurement processes

·       Collaborate to manage vendor relationships, facilitate annual reviews to ensure vendors align with CAISO standards of performance

·       Request price quotes: new, modifications, term changes

·       Ensure all IT products are reviewed and covered by the appropriate level of support

 

Support

·       Coordinate with internal teams to reconcile software inventory use and data

·       Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with software licensing agreements

·       Support BU products, licensing management, expedite tickets and assist with problem resolution

·       Facilitate regular meetings between vendors and business units to ensure communication and understanding of product use, performance, support resolution, and EOL/EOS policies

·       Meet regularly with IT teams to ensure open communication and collaboration

o   VDI Team, Virtual Infrastructure Team, AppVol Team

 

Budget Planning

·       Develop annual O&M budget for IT Asset Management

·       Manage and track spending for maintenance and support renewals, annual product subscriptions, HW, and some items outside of Asset Management's budget.

·       Create/Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies

 

Telecommunications Billing Analysis

Weekly:

• Analyze ~40 monthly invoices

·       Ensure the Monthly Recurring Charges (MRCs) are correct and match the contract pricing schedule.

·       Check for errors, or over charges, submit disputes for invoices that are incorrect and submit the invoices into the invoicing system.

• Receiving invoices

·       Once the invoices are approved in invoicing system, receive them (data entry) in the electronic procurement system.

Monthly:

• Minimum Annual Revenue Commitment (MARC) Report for Monthly AT&T Stewardship meeting

·       Prepare data to present on our MARC (Current YTD spend, Projected contribution and if we will meet our additional annual credits)

•AT&T touch-base on disputes 

·       Average 5-10 ongoing disputes at any one time

·       Track and follow-up on disputes by opening tickets and doing financial analysis.

·       Teleconference and mobility reporting to show monthly spend and monthly usage to avoid overages and overall Cost Center spend

·       Analyze to ensure we are not going to go over annual budget based on projected spend

• Monthly updates to ISO team

·       Provide updates on contracts, disputes, credits, and budget

Annual:

• Telecomm Budget

·       Full in depth analysis of YTD spend, projected spend, and then a final telecomm budget

·       Includes 2-3 meetings with Finance in order to present budget
