Network and Computer Systems Administrator

As part of its pursuit of potential new business, Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking multiple Network and Computer Systems Administrators to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full Time (Regular) Exempt (Salary) position located in Patuxent River, MD 20670. Some telework may be allowed upon approval.

ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, configure, and maintain the customer's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
• Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
• Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
• Analyze Network and server resource consumption and control user access.
• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
• Assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between Network and data communications hardware and software.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited University in a relevant computer science, information systems, information technology, networking, mathematics, engineering, or similar discipline and 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the roles/responsibilities above.
• An Associate's degree in the same relevant degree programs plus an additional 2 years of relevant experience (5 years total) -OR- a High School diploma/GED plus an additional 4 years' experience (7 years total) may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP.
• Active SECRET w/ SSBI or TOP SECRET clearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Experience in enterprise network administration within a large DoD organization.
• Experience in AWS cloud environment.
• Active SECRET clearance.

Pay: $117,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
