SalaryBITCO Corporation is currently seeking a Network Administratorto join our Home Office team in Davenport, IA. BITCO provides quality insurance services to special industries including construction, forest products, and oil & gas. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Position Summary:
As part of the IT Operations team, this position ensures the reliable operations, stability, and integrity of our network infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPN Gateways, Wireless Access Points (WAPs) including SIEM and IAM integration
- Maintain voice services, including dial plans, calling features, voice mail, contact center, and voice integrations with Web Conferencing solutions
- Build and maintain network services in the Azure Cloud
- Facilitate the operation and environment of our network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures
- Suggest network configuration improvements and optimal installations
- Develop network security policies and procedures to ensure the company complies with audit requirements
- Document network design and configuration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust network architecture
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Network Administrators
- Foster a collaborative learning environment within the team
- Coordinates with appropriate personnel to verify effectiveness of security policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience within Information Technology, specifically network administration
- Cloud, SDWAN, ZTNA and/or NGFW experience is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
