Description
The Network Administrator is responsible for the installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Mittera's network hardware and infrastructure. This individual is part of the Networking team and is responsible for ensuring the network systems and procedures adhere to organizational values of security and cost-effectiveness while providing value to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
Manage and maintain the company's IT network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance to ensure network performance, availability, and security, and to identify and resolve issues.
Oversee the installation of new hardware or software.
Perform regular system updates and security patches to maintain a secure and reliable network.
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve network-related user concerns effectively.
Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and guides for other support staff.
Required Skills and Abilities

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
2+ years' experience in a Network Administration role.
Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls, Fortinet preferred.
Experience configuring and maintaining switches, HP Aruba experience preferred.
Experience configuring and maintaining wireless access points, HP Aruba experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.
Excellent Communication skills along with the ability to work independently and as a team.
Excellent Problem-solving skills.
