Network Administrator Tier 2

As a Network Administrator Tier 2, you will be a key player in managing and optimizing our clients' network infrastructure.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems. 
• Providing escalated technical support to address complex network issues to our clients.
• Conducting network performance analysis and implementing improvements.
• Contributing to the planning and execution of network-related projects.
• Expertise in network administration, troubleshooting, and optimization. 
• In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex network-related issues.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance.
• Experience in implementing and managing security protocols within network infrastructure.
• Perform service calls at client's facilities as assigned.
• Document all work time by the close of business each work day in Autotask or other formats as requested; document all leave time to ensure accurate data for reporting.
• Assist in developing DataPerk business.

• Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Server administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Storage administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.

General Networking:- Understand the OSI Model- Install, troubleshoot and repair structured cabling and be able to review drawings.- Configure and troubleshoot DHCP and DNS (server and gateway)- Perform latency checks, packet captures and review overall network health

Switching/Routing:- Install, configure, and troubleshoot switches/routers (Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco)- Understand broadcast domains and implement VLANs- Install, configure and troubleshoot switch stacking and power failover- Understand and troubleshoot network topologies

Firewalls:- Install, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls (Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco)- Install, configure, and troubleshoot site to site VPNs (Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco)- Install, configure, and troubleshoot client SSL-VPNs (Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco)- Experience Maintaining Licensing and Configuration Backup Plan

Wireless:- Install, configure and troubleshoot Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco and Unifi wireless systems- Experience Maintaining Licensing and Configuration Backup Plan 

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

Certifications (two or more of the following):

- CompTIA Network+

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (200-301)

- Cisco Certified DevNet Associate

- Fortinet NSE 4-6

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals

- CompTIA Server+

- CompTIA Security+

- Certified Ethical Hacker

- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Proven experience as a Network Administrator Tier 2 or similar role.
