Network Administrator (Hybrid)

This position is responsible for supporting various hardware/software projects and equipment including server hardware, operating systems and applications, storage, network hardware, and associated cable plant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting server hardware and software infrastructure
• Supporting internet applications including firewall/proxy, Office 365 Suite, www, cloud storage
• Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining, and monitoring network security
• Administration and support of Office 365 Suite such as Microsoft Teams, One Drive, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure Active Directory
• Managing Active Directory user and computer accounts, groups, permissions, and privileges
• Supporting routed/switched networks across multiple sites and with centralized internet connectivity
• Performing routine preventive maintenance and disaster recovery procedures including backup/restore
• Analyzing and resolving hardware, software and network faults
• Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff
• Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work

Education and Experience:

• 4 Year College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Administration or equivalent experience with one or more IT certifications, MCSE, CCNA and CompTIA Security+ preferred.

• Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
• Windows Server OS, with Active Directory and associated server applications.
• IBM Server Hardware and Storage Technologies including fiber channel.
• VMware Networked peripheral devices, such as printers, audio/visual and mobile devices.
• Strong communication skills, ability to interact with end users.
• VMWare/Hyper-V Administration
• Cisco Network Administration
• Effective and professional written and verbal communication
