Looking for one Network Administrator II to join the team on a 6 month contract to hire basis. The Network Administrator II is responsible for providing stable network connectivity and highest uptime (24x7x365). This includes planning, installing, configuring, maintaining/supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and links. We are looking for someone with experience in data center infrastructure and networks supporting data, voice, and video. This person will be responsible for maintaining firewalls, switches (layer 2 and 3), wireless, VPNs, port security, NACLs, and Quality of Service for the
organization. The current Network Admin is really great, but needs help with things such as setting up VPNs, develop policies on firewalls, and maintaining the network.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to ensure Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and monitor bandwidth utilization.
• Develops design, configurations, monitoring, failover scenarios, test cases, and documentation according to industry standards and best practices for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Maintains physical and logical diagrams of network topology, trains teammates on architecture and access controls.
• Designs network-based security and implements solutions.
• Provides value-driven ideas to improve network and system architecture or functionality. Incorporates new ideas into the overall design by focusing on security, usability, and reliability while minimizing cost.
• Participates in Change Management and logs information for historical tracking.

OGHS recently purchased $700,000 in Fortinet switches and are in the process of deploying the switches. They have also purchased Avaya phone PBX systems 2 years ago that were supposed to come after the switches that are still sitting in the box. Has capital sitting around but he doesn’t have the people to do the deployments. Right now they are on Avaya extreme switches on Avaya fabric but are not happy with it. During the last hurricane, they were doing a POC with meraki switches and wireless access points and it took out everything including FirstNet and they learned that without any internet access - they can't reconfigure the switches or wireless to bring a clinic up without having access to the cloud.
