Contracts Administration Analyst
CNRMC-Code 400 Navy Contracts Administration Analyst
Purpose:
  • In this role, the candidate will provide contract administrative support to the Commander, Naval Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC), Contracts Department Leadership located at Norfolk Naval Base, VA.(Onsite) to include to support to and analysis of contract data.
Job Description:
  • Provide program support to NAVSEA, CNRMC and RMCs to include preparation of spreadsheets, presentations, the development of graphs and written documentation using MS office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Prepare monthly reports providing updates.
  • Retrieve and correlate data to build and present metrics.
  • Support Contract metric analysis and Contract Portfolio updates using advanced Excel skills and providing research of Navy Maintenance Databases to include NMD, NDE and other sources as required.
  • Support CNRMC Contracts Department policies and instructions – updates and revisions as required.
  • Provide program support to NAVSEA,CNRMC and RMCs in the area of Navy ship maintenance contracts; to include preparation of spreadsheets, presentations, data analysis and the development of graphs and statistical data, identify trends, lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain records database by entering, reviewing, and extracting data from various sources.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, track information files, process paperwork and provide relevant information by email, written form, telephone and face to face meetings to staff and employees.
  • Facilitate meetings and phone calls; taking minutes, arrange rooms, providing handouts, taking attendance.
  • Coordinate calendars, schedules and events for staff.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience or an Associates and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Must have an expert level of competence with all Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Must have ability to communicate to all levels of the Chain of Command.
  • Must have experience with SharePoint environments; must have the ability to work with web-based applications and databases.
  • Must be skilled in multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizational skills and have excellent oral and written communication.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prefer experience working in a professional Government Program Management Office.
  • Experience using Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Experience with RMC contracting requirements
  • Knowledge of Navy Ship Maintenance activities across multi ship classes; to include the workflow process associated with ship maintenance, lifecycle management and availabilities.
  • Prior experience in the End-to-End Navy Ship Maintenance Process, familiar with ship repair and overhaul terminology
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel-less than 10%.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
Security Requirements:
  • Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a CAC card.
Travel Requirements:
