Come join our team! The City of Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation is hiring for Natural Resources Technicians.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Assists with natural areas management, wildlife management, and with the implementation of the Division's Integrated Pest Management Plan, including associated field work
-Assists with the implementation of grant-funded natural resource restoration and enhancement projects, including daily project work tracking
-Assists with implementation of up to 60 annual community volunteer events, including invasive species control, seed collection, brush hauling, and tree planting volunteer events
-Performs routine site inspections and nature areas maintenance activities to include utility vehicle and tractor operation, truck and trailer operation, chainsaw and small equipment operation, herbicide application, and GPS data collection
-Assists with data collection using GIS applications
