Job Description
National Sales Manager (Electronics Manufacturer)
- Developing annual sales forecasts and achieving annual sales budgets (i.e., bookings and billings)
- Developing sales strategies for each sales territory consistent with corporate goals and direction of the company
- Recruiting effective Manufacturer representatives
- Evaluating Manufacturer representatives' sales performance and managing applicable corrective actions
- Creating and maintaining organizational profiles of key customers and target customers
- Developing strategic relationships with key customers
- Reporting market trends and participating in a new product definition
- Preparing and presenting quarterly Sales reports on regional sales performance to senior management
- Creating short-term and long-term goals to manage changing market conditions pertaining to growth strategies and communicating to senior management what resources are required
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) is required
- Minimum 10 years of Technical Field Sales Experience and 5 years of Sales Management experience working with Manufacturers' Representatives
- Must have 10 years of experience selling custom and standard electronic components to Aerospace and Defense OEMs
- Ability to understand customer's technical inquiries and provide competent responses back, independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, be self-disciplined, and plan well to meet the assignment due dates
- Possess proven leadership skills and must exhibit decisive decision-making abilities
- Candidate must be a US Person.
